The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based national exam used by the IIMs and many top business schools in India for admission to their MBA and PGDM programs.

You need a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks (or 45% for SC, ST, PWD).

Final-year students of recognized undergraduate programs are also eligible to sit for CAT, subject to timely submission of proof of graduation.

+3 for each correct MCQ; –1 for each incorrect MCQ

No negative marking for TITA (Type-In-The-Answer) questions

Raw scores are normalized across different test sessions

CAT is conducted in around 170 cities across India

During registration, candidates can select up to five preferred exam cities
